A 7-kilometer circular route. The route passes through the urban areas of Alcobendas, where you can discover iconic places in the city, including some of its most beautiful parks.

  1.    Start of route

We begin our tour at the José Caballero Municipal Sports Center.

  2.      Greenhouse

We continue along Avenida de la Transición Española, crossing into Parque de la Vega, heading for the "greenhouse," a space dedicated entirely to the circus. Its facilities and surroundings make it an idyllic spot for all circus lovers, whether professional or amateur.

  3.    Viewpoints

We continue our route through the Jardín de la Vega toward two viewpoints located on two artificial hills surrounded by grass and a fruit garden, with a steep but fun access, from where you can enjoy a beautiful view of Alcobendas.

  4.    Sculpture - Man Moving

We access Salvador Allende Boulevard to find the sculpture Man Moving, by Stephan Balkenhol.

  5.    Art Center

We continue our route along Mariano Sebastián Izuel Street to reach the Art Center, a municipal museum designed by architects Fernando Parrilla Villafruela and María Isabel Muñoz Parrilla. It has nine floors housing exhibitions, an auditorium, a large meeting area, and a media library.

  6.     Church of St. Peter

We continue until we reach the Church of San Pedro, one of the parishes of Alcobendas.

  7.    Civic Center District Center

The Centro Civic District Center was the Alcobendas City Hall until the inauguration of the new Town Hall in 1993.

  8.     Pedro González Guerra Senior Center

We continue our walk from Plaza el Pueblo toward Calle de la Constitución and reach Calle Orense. On the left, we find the Pedro González Guerra Senior Center, a meeting place for seniors.

  9.     Catalonia Park

The Catalonia Park attempts to evoke Gaudí's Park Güell in Barcelona.

Lakes, ornamental fountains, a bandstand, a viewing platform, and children's playgrounds are some of its features. Among them, the fountain dedicated to the sardana, located in the upper plaza, stands out.

  10.    Zen Garden

Continuing along the route, we arrive at the Zen Garden, also known as a dry garden. It originates from Japan and its basic elements are sand, gravel, and stones. Its main purpose is to promote serenity and meditation. Its beauty is based on minimalism and symbolism.

  11.     3D Bridge

We skirt Castilla La Mancha Park, parallel to Pintor Murillo Street, entering the park until we reach the "3D Bridge," the world's first pedestrian bridge created using a 3D printer. It is twelve meters long and 1.75 meters wide.

  12.      Streaker Flat. Sculpture

We skirt Castilla La Mancha Park parallel to Pintor Murillo Street, turn left to return along the other side of the park, pass under a large bridge that connects to Andalusia Park, and as we walk we come across a sculpture called Flat.

  13.      Andalusia Park

One of the park's main attractions, besides its large green areas, is the lake, with an impressive artificial geyser in the center.

  14.      Vega Garden Park

The Vega Garden was designed with a distinctly educational focus. It features elements such as the Peace Bell, the Bonsai Museum, and the Pirate Ship.

We end our tour in the same place where we began.
