A circular route that begins and ends at the José Caballero Sports Center. Along the way, we'll alternate between green spaces and Alcobendas' extensive outdoor cultural offerings.

We'll see the photographic exhibition of Salvador Allende Boulevard and several contemporary sculptures, and we'll also explore the unique Sigaus Forest and relax in Adolfo Suárez Park.

  1.     Route start. José Caballero Sports Center

The route starts and ends at the José Caballero Sports Center, a clear commitment by Alcobendas to making sport a hallmark of the city. It offers all kinds of sports facilities.

  2.      Sigaus Forest

We leave the José Caballero Sports Centre and turn left onto Fernando Alonso Avenue. Just before reaching the roundabout, we take the exit to the right and follow the path. At the start of this path, we come across the Sigaus Forest, which has 1,000 trees planted and houses 800 Aleppo pines and 200 white maples.

  3.     Urban Gardens Alcobendas

28 urban gardens, ranging in size from 30 to 78 square meters. The city council provides the beneficiaries with water for irrigation, a tool shed, a changing room, and materials, as well as a perimeter fence for the plot.

  4.     Sculpture La Menina

We continue until we reach the La Vega Shopping Center, then continue behind the square to reach the Plaza de la Escultura de la Menina, designed by Manolo Valdés, an icon of Alcobendas.

  5.     Temporary photography exhibition on Salvador Allende Boulevard

We continue along Salvador Allende Boulevard where we find the Temporary Outdoor Photography Exhibition.

  6.     Man Moving. Sculpture

Following Salvador Allende Boulevard we find the sculpture Man Moving, work of Stephan Balkenhol.

  7.     Adolfo Suárez Park

We continue along Juncal Avenue, turning right onto Teresa Perales Street until we reach Rafael Nadal Avenue. We arrive at Adolfo Suárez Park, part of the new 12,269-square-meter El Juncal urban development.

  8.    Adolfo Suárez Monument

We arrived at the Monument to Adolfo Suárez. A key figure in the Spanish transition and president of the Spanish government from 1976 to 1981.

  9.     End of route. José Caballero Sports Center

Following Adolfo Suarez Park parallel to the Arroyo de la Vega, we end our route where we began, at the José Caballero Sports Center.
