  1.    Avenue of Spain

The Avenue is the territorial boundary with the neighboring town of San Sebastián de los Reyes and it is here where the healthy rivalry between neighbors began as early as the 15th century over land, pastures, and even lawsuits brought to the courts of the time.

  2.    Castile Square

A few meters up Nuestra Señora del Pilar Street, there was a very old drinking water fountain and an associated public washhouse that was demolished in 1982 to build the current Castilla School.

Originally known as Calle de la Tahona, in the early 19th century it was called Calle Real, indicating that it was the main thoroughfare. It was not until the 20th century that it received its current name. The Marchioness, widow of Luis de Ussía y Aldama, was originally from Alcobendas and was a great benefactor.

  5.   Town square

Plaza de la Constitución, converted into a bullring, with the town hall built in 1876.

The various buildings of the town hall were built in this square from 1812 until its move to the Plaza Mayor in 1993. For many years, the stands were installed here for the bullfights held during the festivals.

Known in the 19th century as Calle de la Victoria in honor of the Spanish victory in the war against the French in 1808, Alcobendas was the scene of the invasion.   During the invasion, the Nuevo Alcobendas newspaper of 1971, number 5, advertised furniture stores and the films from the Cine Avenida. In the aforementioned premises, which had a stage, the first Song Festival was held in 1972. To celebrate this event, the presenter was present.   and with a grant from the Ministry of Information and Tourism of 50,000 pesetas.

There is a commemorative plaque on the house where the miracle of the multiplication of wine from a small jar occurred on January 25, 1677, during the feast of Our Lady of Peace. The jar is kept in the chapel of the Virgin.
