  1.    Views of Mount Valdelatas

The Valdelatas mountain, considered the natural extension of the El Pardo mountain, covers an area of 290 hectares, 89 of which belong to the municipality of Alcobendas and the rest to Madrid. It has an average altitude of 700 meters and a gentle relief.

Valdelatas was originally a forest of holm oaks; the firewood cuts suffered over many years, as well as subsequent reforestation with stone pine and the presence of several streams, have allowed the development of other vegetation formations: holm oak (associated with rockrose), stone pine, and riparian vegetation.

  2.    Wooden bridge over Arroyo de la Vega

In the park that provides access to Mount Valdelatas, there is this wooden bridge over Arroyo de la Vega, which is characterized by being where the first sections of its journey begin after the tributary streams of Valdecruya and Valdelacasa merge.

  3.     DOCALIA Headquarters

Docalia's data processing center, with a surface area of 12,715 square meters, is located in the Valdelacasa Business Park. Designed by architect Laura Espejo Escorial, it was selected in the first session of deliberations for the 2014 COAM awards. The building is intended for mixed use, housing both the data processing center (CPD) facilities and the industrial use of DOCALIA, and the administrative and call center facilities of RSI. The building's structural development defines its different uses. It is conceived as a large structure of pillars, slabs, and reinforced concrete post-beams with large spans, marked by the appearance of intermediate courtyards. The transition from the industrial area to the call center area is achieved through a structural change: metal pillars rest on the intermediate slab and define a more open structure that facilitates the configuration of a continuous green roof that generates different slopes, ramps, and circulation patterns.
