Description of the work:
It is a sculpture just over two meters high, made by forging and welding.
The work is an outcry against gender violence. It uses circles to represent a woman crying with her heart in her hands, using the symbolism of the circle as feminine, broken by the symbolism of a masculine character.

Juan Carlos Domínguez Gómez, alias Carlo 5.
Juan Carlos Domínguez Gómez was born on May 5, 1965, in Vegacerneja (León), a small town in the Riaño Mountains. Self-taught, he uses the techniques acquired during his long career in the metal industry, complementing this with his studies in contemporary artistic forging at the León Trades Center.
His work clearly reflects his passion for the animal kingdom, especially the fascinating world of insects. He primarily uses recycled iron in his work. He has exhibited in galleries such as Benavente in Zamora, Sta. María del Páramo in León, as well as in the Church of the Encarnación in Zamora and San Lorenzo del Escorial in Madrid.
He lives in San Cristóbal de Entreviñas (Zamora) where he has set up his small craft workshop.
