Carlos Adeva (Toro 1974)
His paintings are free of stigmas and difficult to categorize within a specific movement, although they are influenced by early Cubism, Baroque, and Byzantine Gothic, which formed the aesthetic space of his childhood in the province of Zamora. He is currently a professor of painting techniques at CEARCAL and is deeply focused on his work as a muralist in public spaces.
In 2015, his work DESaTINO , a visual reflection on an ancient oriental legend, won first prize at the 16th ACOR painting awards in Castile and León.
