45. "Don't burn what you love" Poch. 2025

Description of the work:

The artist wanted to convey with his work the duty that human beings have to take care of what we really have to value for and by future generations.

She depicted a young woman with long, wavy hair gathered in pigtails, one on each side of her face covering her shoulders, using different shades of pink and violet to highlight her hair, giving it movement, in contrast to the turquoise blue of her face. She wears a green sweater and hat adorned with flowers of the same shade as her hairstyle.

In the mauve background, simulating a watercolor, splashes of fuchsia and dark blue dot the wall, where we can read the phrase that gives the mural its title: "DON'T BURN WHAT YOU LOVE".

The female figure acts as a serene reminder, and the phrase underlines that we should not harm what is good for us, both environmentally and emotionally.
