On the banks of the estuary lies the University of Deusto, an academic institution run by the Jesuit Fathers and renowned in fields such as the humanities and business. Facing the University, on the other side of the estuary, we can see the University of Deusto library with its imposing cobblestone façade designed by Rafael Moneo.

Next to it is the Pedro Arrupe Footbridge, dedicated to this Jesuit from Bilbao, which connects with the University of Deusto. And the Iberdrola Tower, an imposing business building designed by the prestigious Argentine architect César Pelli, stands 165 meters tall and has 41 floors, characterized by its design, technology, and sustainability.
