Fishermen's House on Berdigón Street

View on map

The house dates back to approximately the 15th century. Its construction even predates the Church of the Conception. It is a typical seafaring house that in its time stood on the marsh front. At the rear, its cobbled floor with rounded edges was used by sailors to raise boats from the channels where the berdigón or cockle was harvested.

Today, after Francisco gave it a more modern touch, it has been converted into a bar that retains the same charm it once had, using its spaces for exhibitions, literary gatherings, and various events.
