How to play the tactile plane

The tourist office offers an accessible tactile orientation map of the city of Huelva in A3 format, folded into two sheets, forming four sides, printed in ink, with 15 points of tourist interest in high relief and a Braille legend.

The main cover of the map features a photograph of the Río Tinto dock, along with the name Huelva in high relief and a framed QR code for more information in an accessible format.

Now, we open the map. On the left side, there is a Braille legend with the points of interest up to number 15 and the textures associated with the map.

In the map area, we find the 15 points of interest with a circle and their corresponding number in Braille, and three different types of lines to aid orientation. One is in the lower left corner and represents the Odiel River; another is in the center and represents Avenida de Italia; and the last is in the lower right corner and represents the Huelva-Seville railway line.

At the bottom of the plan is the location of North and a line for the reference scale with arrows at its ends, which is equivalent to 350 meters in reality.

On the back cover, there is a Braille text that provides information and data about the Plaza Mayor tourist office and useful telephone numbers.

Huelva wishes you a pleasant stay in the city. Thank you for your visit.
