In this park, you can observe up to 25 plant species, many of which are typical of the Cantabrian holm oak forest, such as holm oaks, laurels, and strawberry trees, with some unique specimens in the region.
The Txatxarramendi holm oak grove is one of the oldest stands of holm oaks in Urdaibai, mainly thanks to the care it received during the existence of the Txatxarramendi Hotel and, subsequently, to the maintenance work carried out periodically.
