In spring, swallows nest by the hundreds in the bell tower of the Church of St. Peter, declared an Asset of Cultural Interest. Inside, where it is cool and secluded, the paintings in the apse and the baptismal font are bound to attract your interest. Another of its great attractions are the endless views from the viewpoints in the surrounding park: at our feet is the entire Henares river plain, and in the horizon sits the Guadarrama mountain range. This spot also offers the most beautiful sunsets in the entire Madrid Region. From this tranquil place, you will hardly believe your eyes when you catch sight of the towers on La Castellana and the busy city life.
We recommend you take the viewpoints route, from this balcony over the Alcarria that is Los Santos de la Humosa, where you can also enjoy some of the best food in the whole of the Alcarria region of Madrid.

Our viewpoints
- Pico de Peña Bermeja Viewpoint.
Los Santos de la Humosa has several viewpoints, but we recommend taking the pleasant route to the Pico de Peña Bermeja Viewpoint. This is a stunning viewpoint on the outskirts of the town, on the old Anchuelo road, south of the bullring. Here you can see one of the best sunsets in the Madrid Region.
