Located in the fishing port, this 400m2 area recovers a little bit of the maritime history of Santurtzi and its region. With the help of new technologies the visitor will follow a tour that begins in the year 1600, although within the visit there will be some stories dating back previous years. Lemans, corsairs, sardine sellers, fishermen and numerous characters who lived off the sea will accompany us on our visit.
Loaded with emotion we will say goodbye to Our Lady of Carmen, images of the small santurtziarras bathing in the port, fishing, the nautical school, Sotera... the first cornerstones of Santurtzi.
This space is not only a simple place of remembrance, but an essential local memory corner, where those who have lived off the sea have left us their testimonies that they can continue to share their marine experiences with all those in Santurtzi who wish to listen and learn.
From the Tourism Office we offer different visits and seafaring activities aimed at all audiences.
