Laida Beach

View on map

Laida, the longest beach in the Mundaka estuary, offers all the services you need to enjoy a relaxing day, play sports, or enjoy the local cuisine.

The tides continually transform its silhouette , and at low tide, curious shapes are formed that invite you to stroll. The natural environment surrounding the beach is a true pleasure to behold, with the Cantabrian holm oak forest painting the landscape green, contrasting with the blue of the sea.

Here you'll find companies that rent canoes, paddleboards, and other water sports . The area is perfect for children swimming, always under adult supervision, as at low tide, puddles and pools of water form, providing great fun for little ones.

Laida Beach can be accessed from the parking lot via a stamped concrete ramp with a 16% gradient. There is a wooden walkway leading to the showers.
