Alameda metro station

The Alameda metro station was designed

by the Valencian architect Santiago Calatrava.

This station won the European Architecture Prize

in 2015.

 

The station is an example of sustainable mobility

because using the metro reduces

environmental pollution.

 The station is adapted for people

with reduced mobility.

The station has:

- Platforms between the platform and the train.

- Wide spaces to pass through, with a width of 90 centimetres.

- Front validation of the ticket.

The station can be seen after crossing the Trinity Bridge.

 

In this area, just between sections 7 and 8

you will find areas with a lot of vegetation and

several outdoor sculptures.

 

You can enjoy this part of the route until

you reach the Flores Rita Barberá Bridge.
