Slaughterhouse

View on map

Built in 1925 and located on the outskirts of the city, where the pasture areas were located. It was restored in   1978.

Reopened in 2018, it is now part of the municipal centers and is used as a multipurpose hall. It is located at the heart of a leisure area consisting of adjacent sports courts, a soccer field, a basketball court, a children's play area, a skate park, and a dog park for training and recreation. Parking is also available.

Near the area, we can visit the hermitages of Calvari and Sant Antoni. After the latter, we find El Salvador Street, known as Carnisseria Street, a place where shepherds from the area passed through.

Near the area we find the Manuel Antón Public School and the El Salvador Public School.
