METRO:
Subway entrances have been marked according to their accessibility characteristics:
access with stairs
access without stairs
elevator access
In the first and last carriages of the train, there are spaces reserved for wheelchairs and strollers.
Throughout the Bilbao Metro network, all stations are accessible for people with physical disabilities.
To make your trip easier, click on this link from the metro itself, where you'll find all the details.
SUBURBAN TRAIN: The commuter train is not accessible for people with reduced mobility (PRM). Some stations do not have elevators, and at many stations (those on the freight line), the space to exit/enter the carriage onto the platform is excessively wide, creating a risk of injury. However, some stations are accessible.
BUS:
They have not been specifically marked, as clicking on the stations indicated on Google Maps reveals routes and schedules.
Bizkaibus lines only have space for one or two wheelchairs. Click for more information about Bizkaibus .
PARKING: The closest parking lot to the trails, specifically the ZUBIALDE PARKING, is payable. This parking lot is listed as accessible, but for wheelchair users, the elevator leads to a space surrounded by stairs, the only exit from which is the car entrance. Therefore, we recommend going directly to this exit, even though it has a 14% gradient with 18% inclines.
