How to play the plane

The tourist office offers an accessible tactile orientation map of the Las Encartaciones region in A3 format, folded into two sheets, forming four sides, printed in ink with 10 points of tourist interest in high relief and a Braille legend.

The map's main cover features a photograph of a woman enjoying the region's natural surroundings, along with the region's name in high relief and a framed QR code for more information in an accessible format.

Now, we open the map. On the left side, there is a Braille legend with the points of interest up to number 10 and the textures associated with the map.

In the map area, we find the 10 points of interest circled and their corresponding numbers in Braille. In addition, we have marked the boundary of the Las Encartaciones region, which is distinct from the rest of Bizkaia, Cantabria, Álava, and Castile and León, as this region borders all of these territories. In the upper right corner, it borders the Cantabrian Sea, indicated by a pattern of parallel lines, and the mouth of the Bilbao Estuary, marked with a zigzag pattern.

We can also find two tourist offices across a square with a dot in the center, and three protected natural areas with their perimeters marked by dashed lines.

At the bottom right of the map is the location of North.

On the back cover, there is a Braille text indicating the Tourist Office's email address, website, and address. The top of the back cover is decorated with an image of Armañón Natural Park, one of the tourist attractions found on the map.
