The streets are packed with people for the annual Fiesta Mayor (Great Festival). The August weather and the program are perfect for this. You can find activities for the little ones, such as the traditional ribbon race, the foam party, and the Xeringada (Xeringada), and activities for the whole family, such as the giants' encounter, the parade, the castles, the sardana dances, the correfoc (fire run), and the lace-making gathering, among others. Also not to be missed are the street dinners, the fireworks display, the various dances, and the Barrakes on the Dunas beach.
