The Alameda metro station was designed
by the Valencian architect Santiago Calatrava.
This station won the European Architecture Prize
in 2015.
The station is an example of sustainable mobility
because using the metro reduces
environmental pollution.
The station is adapted for people
with reduced mobility.
The station has:
- Platforms between the platform and the train.
- Wide spaces to pass through, with a width of 90 centimetres.
- Front validation of the ticket.
The station can be seen after crossing the Trinity Bridge.
In this area, just between sections 7 and 8
you will find areas with a lot of vegetation and
several outdoor sculptures.
You can enjoy this part of the route until
you reach the Flores Rita Barberá Bridge.
