The Patriarch Monument is made up of
by church, school and seminary.
Construction began in 1586 and was completed in 1610.
Outside, we can see the masonry walls.
It is in the Plaza del Patriarca,
where there is a small bell tower on one corner.
In the center of the building there is a large cloister
Renaissance style.
Around it is the church, the Communion chapel,
the library, the cells and the classrooms.
Through the classrooms we reach a backyard
where the most private rooms in the building are located.
Its museum houses works of art of great value,
such as several works by El Greco and early Flemish painters.
