Valencia diverted the course of the Turia River
due to the continuous floods it suffered.
This former riverbed is now a beautiful 9-kilometer garden,
that crosses the city from west to east.
On its sides there are museums, sports facilities,
and playgrounds.
It has 18 bridges that cross the area.
If we cross the Flower Bridge we reach the Pla del Real district
where we find several buildings that were built
for the Valencian Regional Exhibition of 1909.
The City of Arts and Sciences is also located in this district,
and in front of it is the renovated Fallas Museum.
Aerial view at dusk of the old bed of the Turia River illuminated by lights. The entire City of Arts and Sciences can be seen. From left to right, we see the Agora, the mast of the Golden Bridge, the Science Museum, the Hemisfèric, and the Palau de les Arts.
