Ostend Beach

View on map

Ostend's artificial beach, created in the early 1990s, is located in the westernmost part of the city, allowing for less crowded beach activities.

It's shaped like a shell, and its calm, crystal-clear waters make for safe swimming. In 2018, it was awarded the Blue Flag for its quality.

It's 1,100 meters long and 50 meters wide, with coarse, gray sand. It has showers, trash cans, and toilets, and is lifeguarded during the summer.
