31. "In your story I am still hidden" Thelma & Louise. 2022

Description of the work:

The mural is composed of two intertwined triangles; one of them depicts the face of a fragmented woman, expressing all the hardships women have endured throughout history, having been silenced, hidden, and obscured by patriarchy and machismo.
In the other triangle, simulating a comic, appear onomatopoeias of the sound of suffering and pain that abused women have endured and continue to endure, sadly, to this day.
The black background of the mural in memory of the victims contrasts with the bright colors of the other elements depicted, calling for public attention so as not to forget the ongoing fight against gender-based violence.
The work is part of a series of projects held at the "Art Against Oblivion in La Torre del Valle" gallery under the auspices of the State Pact against Gender Violence.
