3. Marivent Gardens

View on map

The Marivent Gardens are located in the Palace of the same name in Palma. They cover an area of 9,155 square meters and have been open to the public free of charge since 2017. They are notable for their botanical interest, featuring a wide variety of plants; visitors can admire up to 40 different plant species. This unique complex was built in 1925 by the engineer and collector Joan de Saridakis. It served as the garden of the Saridakis Museum from 1965 to 1972 and has been the official residence of the Royal Family since 1965.

The gardens also have an added cultural value: 12 bronze sculptures by the artist Joan Miró, permanently loaned by the artist's family. This is unique in the world, as no royal house has an exhibition of this nature in its gardens.

We can also find public restrooms, access for people with reduced mobility, and baby strollers.
