The Rio Tinto Company Dock is one of the city of Huelva's heritage sites. From its construction in 1874 until its closure in 1975, spanning a hundred years of history, it has been a masterpiece of engineering from the last quarter of the 19th century.
The mineral unloading dock, owned by the Riotinto Mining Company, was renovated in 2007 for public use and enjoyment. It has been declared a Site of Cultural Interest.
