Church of San Sebastián

View on map

The first stone of the temple was laid on Sunday, March 9, 1958, thanks to the initiative of the new Diocese and Dr. Cantero Cuadrado, the first Bishop of Huelva.

The parish was completed for the Patron Saint's Day celebration in 1959.

It is a single-nave building with iconographic decoration alluding to the saint's martyrdom. It houses a chapel with a relic of the patron saint of Huelva, donated by the Huelva artist José María Franco following recent renovations.
