The Palau March, very close to the Almudaina Palace and the Cathedral, houses what is considered the best Balearic-themed library on the island. The building, located in one of Palma's most elegant areas, is also the current headquarters of the Bartolomé March Foundation, a long-standing patron of the island. Another treasure of this museum is the 18th-century Neapolitan nativity scene.
The tour, open to the public, allows visitors to explore part of the palace and observe the murals created by Josep Maria Sert (Barcelona, 1874-1945) that decorated the vault of the main staircase and the music room. It offers privileged views of Mallorca Cathedral, the King's Gardens, and Passeig des Born.
